Jennifer Hall
Alvord Middle School 

Jennifer Hall is exemplary because she is constantly going above and beyond in her pursuit of teaching excellence. She starts by building relationships with her students and co-workers. She has a love for her subject, science, that exudes in every lesson that she teaches. She is always smiling and has a zest for life that is contagious. This is what middle school students and teachers alike need daily. She is also NJHS sponsor, cheer sponsor, and a all-around cheer leader. You are guaranteed to have a better day just by coming in contact with her. 

Kelsey Starnes
Boyd Middle School

Kelsey Starnes exhibits a strong sense of knowledge and skills, a deep understanding of social-emotional wellness, and is routinely seeking opportunities to improve her craft in order to increase student achievement. Starnes creates unique opportunities for students to seek individualized growth, both academically and emotionally. Students and peers are affected by Starnes’ ability to create a culture of a lifelong love of learning.

Bridget Stutt
Bridgeport Intermediate School

Bridget Stutt goes above and beyond daily to make sure that her team is taken care of, informed, and available for anything the campus needs. She is the ultimate advocate for kids, and when students need differentiation, it is delivered and delivered with fidelity until students make growth. When you think about what helps a campus, you ask yourself, can she grow others to a point where the grade level or content peers are able to replace her one day when she’s gone? The answer is yes. Every day she plants trees that will create shade that she will never sit in! This is what makes her a great educator.

Bonnie Redwine
Chico Middle School 

Bonnie is a model teacher who takes every aspect of her job seriously and consistently finds ways to meet the needs of her students. She is selfless and gives up her time to assist students who are struggling not only in math, but in other subjects as well. She volunteers to help anyone out when a need arises

Sarah Whetsell
Rann Elementary 

Sarah Whetsell is an exemplary person, teacher and community member at Rann Elementary. She goes above and beyond to establish a positive rapport with her students and teammates. Sarah maintains high expectations for her students and herself and exemplifies being a lifelong learner who is not afraid to make mistakes while learning new things. She is loyal, believes the best about others, and works to cultivate a positive climate both in and out of the classroom. Sarah’s passion pours out of her. She spends time pouring into her students, their families and our staff. Students want to be in her class and staff members are drawn to her as a mentor and friend. Sarah exemplifies all the qualities of a leader; empathy, adaptability, grit, listening and empowerment. Rann Elementary is truly grateful to have her as a part of our campus family. She makes our building better

Amy Pace
Paradise Junior High School 

Amy Pace is the Special Education teacher at Paradise Junior High. She is a big part of her students’ lives and goes above and beyond to ensure students’ future success both inside and outside of the classroom. She works tirelessly to make sure her students get what they need to be successful while building independence and self-confidence in her students. Her love for teaching is evident in many ways, and she spends countless hours working to improve her skills as an educator. Amy is the epitome of what a special education teacher should be and is respected by her students and colleagues. Amy does not seek recognition but deserves to be honored for her work with the students at Paradise Junior High School.

Cynthia DeNoon
Victory Christian Academy 

Cynthia DeNoon works tirelessly to prepare her students for the next grade level academically. Teaches her students life skills to be productive citizens, is an outstanding example of a servant Christian and instills Godly character with lessons from God’s Word daily. This gives Mrs. DeNoon’s students the foundations needed for a successful life. There is no question that DeNoon is one of the best educators in the profession. DeNoon is a devout wife and mother to her four children and serves at her local church. Victory Christian Academy is so fortunate and thankful to have such an excellent, exemplary educator in DeNoon, working with and preparing her students for God’s purpose and plans.
