TUESDAY, APRIL 9

COYOTE TRAIL — A woman stated she was struck by her mother during an argument over doing chores. Deputies arrived and determined the juvenile caller was the primary aggressor of the altercation. The daughter was transported to the sheriff’s office and processed, then released to a family member. 

TUESDAY, APRIL 2

BRIAR ROAD — A man advised his motorcycle was stolen on April 1.

PRIVATE ROAD 1505 — Complainant stated someone ran into approximately 30 feet of fence on U.S. 380 just east of the bridge to Runaway Bay.

COUNTY ROAD 4659 — A traffic stop resulted in the seizure of narcotics.

COUNTY ROAD 3855 — A man advised his mother was having a medical emergency and was cold to the touch. Deputies responded, assisted medics, and conducted an investigation. A woman was transported to Medical City Decatur. 

NORTH TRAPPIER STREET — Complainant stated her daughter’s ex-boyfriend is harassing her. The complainant showed multiple phone calls and cash app messages showing proof that he continuously tries to make contact with her. Deputy determined the elements of harassment with visual proof of evidence.

THURSDAY, APRIL 4

TABOR LANE — A woman advised her grandson’s friend was overdosing in the residence. Deputies arrived, and medics soon cleared the female patient. Parties advised the woman had recently used methamphetamine and fentanyl. Deputies initiated a narcotics investigation. While gathering information, deputies discovered a male in one of the bedrooms actively overdosing on fentanyl. While deputies were tending to him, the female patient attempted to run out of the residence and was assisted to the ground, where she continued to physically resist until she was subdued. A consent search of the residence was conducted, which yielded methamphetamine and fentanyl in the grandson’s bedroom. Three people were arrested. Charges will be filed at large for the male patient due to ongoing medical care.

PRIVATE ROAD 4732 — Complainant advised the neighbor shot and killed her dog. Neighbor advised he shot the dog in self-defense on his property as it was trying to bite him. The neighbor has been bitten by the complainant’s dogs before.

FRIDAY, APRIL 5

COUNTY ROAD 4849 — A woman advised her ex-boyfriend was released from jail, and he was near her residence. Deputies inspected the area and located the man within 500 feet of her residence. Deputies placed the suspect in custody for violation of the protective order and transported him to the jail without incident.

PRIVATE ROAD 4732 — A verbal argument took place between a woman and her boyfriend. Both parties had consumed alcohol. No physical altercation occurred. Both parties separated for the night. 

COUNTY ROAD 1346 — Complainant advised there was vehicle in the middle of the road running. Operator was found to be behind the wheel. Field sobriety tests were performed on the operator, resulting in driver being placed in custody for driving while intoxicated third. Methamphetamine was located inside the vehicle which was also seized and subsequently added to the charges. Blood warrant was obtained on the driver. He was booked into jail on all aforementioned charges. 

CLEARWATER DRIVE — Deputies responded to the residence due to the caller stating her 10-year-old daughter was chasing her around the house with a knife stating she was going to kill her. After a short period of time, the mother was able to disarm the juvenile. Deputies arrived and conducted an investigation. The juvenile was detained and transported to the sheriff’s office for processing. The juvenile was later released to the mother. Deputies contacted juvenile probation officers due to the case.

U.S. 380 — A man stated he was in an argument with his wife and she bit him on his chin, causing him to bleed.

FARM ROAD 718 — Complainant stated he received threatening phone calls following a parental disagreement at Northwest High School. Complainant did not want to press charges and requested a report.

PRAIRIE LANE — Complainant’s neighbor walked outside with a firearm. Deputy contacted the neighbor who stated he was upset about the neighbor’s dogs coming on his property and walked outside with a BB gun to scare off the dogs. 

U.S. 81/287 — A woman stated she had been involved in an altercation with her boyfriend at her residence.

PRIVATE ROAD 4901 — A juvenile had been missing for three hours. Deputies canvassed the area and collected pertinent information. The juvenile was entered into the missing person database. 

U.S. 81/287 SOUTHBOUND — A traffic stop was made for fictitious plates. Upon further investigation and a probable cause search of the vehicle, narcotics and a weapon were located. The driver was placed under arrest.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6

COUNTY ROAD 4870 — Complainant had directed a juvenile to come back to the primary residence at 9:30 p.m., but the juvenile has not returned. Deputies checked the area where she could’ve possibly been but no contact was made with the juvenile. She was entered into a database as a runaway. 

PRIVATE ROAD 4901 — A woman reported her juvenile daughter ran away with an unknown male earlier in the morning, Complainant stated she located the vehicle and was currently following the vehicle. Assisting agency found the vehicle and performed a traffic stop. Deputies arrived to verified the identity of the juvenile. Deputies transported the juvenile home. 

PRIVATE ROAD 3228 — Third party caller stated there was an active disturbance. All involved parties stated it was verbal only. No evidence of a physical disturbance was found.

FARM ROAD 2264 — Complainant called and said a vehicle struck her neighbor’s fence and left the scene.

SUNDAY, APRIL 7

COUNTY ROAD 4223 — A woman was found to have assaulted her husband. Due to the woman not being cleared medically for incarceration, deputy is filing at large for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

FARM ROAD 2123 — Complainant advised her ex threatened to kill her if she did not drop charges on a case which is already filed.

MONDAY, APRIL 8

COUNTY ROAD 4764 — A man advised he works for a company as a developer. He advised he bought street signs for the area, and they were stolen.

COUNTY ROAD 4698 — Complainant advised that his neighbor keeps breaking his fence for no reason. He wants this event to be documented.

TEXAS 114 — Two batteries were stolen and a pump was damaged, totaling $4,000. It happened between Thursday and Sunday.

COUNTY ROAD 4010 — Residence near the ranch dumped materials into the pasture resulting in the death of a cow.

TUESDAY, APRIL 9

SOUTH MCCRACKEN — Caller reported four individuals were spotted walking into an abandoned church. Deputy arrived, and three of the subjects fled on foot. Deputy was unable to locate the fleeing suspects. Deputy located the fourth individual and placed her in custody. The woman identified the other three suspects. Charges will be filed at large for the three fleeing suspects.
