Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at the Forestburg Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg.
Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Cora was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Arkansas to Henry and Karen (Gambil) Stephens. She graduated from Bowie High School in 1955. Cora married the love of her life, Troy Greenwood, Oct. 4, 1955.
She and Troy farmed and ranched in Forestburg where they settled. She worked for Haggar Slack Co., Russell Newman and Fry Brandt sewing factories. She enjoyed reading and quilting and was a member of the Forestburg Church of Christ. Cora will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sister Ora Dovie Wallin; and grandson Richard Keating.
Cora is survived by her daughter, Leresa Greenwood of Alvord; grandchildren Brandi Keating of Lewisville and Mary Keating of Alvord; and nephews Rodger Rhyne of Huffman and Donny Cox of Lubbock.
