Kenneth Allen Baker

Kenneth Allen Baker, 56, went to be with our Lord Friday, May 5, 2023.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur, with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Nick McRae will officiate. Pallbearers include Tim Baker, Shaun Barret, Dr. William McGee, Dr. Jeff Williams, Dr. Tommy Harris and Allen Cox.

Kenneth was born Nov. 21, 1966, to David and Shirley (Van Bolhuis) Baker in Sarasota, Fla. He was united in marriage June 12, 1999, to Jessica Waggoner in Fort Worth. Kenneth was a forklift mechanic supervisor for many years. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Kenneth was a beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Baker.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jessica Baker of Decatur; his son, Joseph Allen Baker of Decatur; three daughters, Rose Elizabeth Baker of Decatur, Hannah Gravette and husband, Chase, and their daughters, Ella and Emberly of Georgia, and Raechel Smith and her daughters, Adioynn and Carley of Georgia; his mother, Shirley Baker of Florida; a brother, Tim Baker of Washington; extended family members and a host of friends.
