David Holland Seals

Seals

At the age of 80 years, after a long battle with cancer, beloved husband, father, grandfather and rancher, David Holland Seals, went to be with his heavenly father.

David was born and raised in San Angelo. As a young adult, he attended Arlington State College, and then began working at Vought Aircraft Industries. While working at Vought, he decided to complete the Ranch Management Program at Texas Christian University.  After retirement, he fully realized his dream of owning and operating a small cattle business. Later, he began driving a school bus for Slidell ISD, retiring from the Teacher’s Retirement System.

Living most of his adult life in Decatur, he was a member of Victory Family Church for 22 years, volunteering for Victory Family Church and Wise Choices Pregnancy Center.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Jo Seals; daughter, Holly Gilbreath and husband, Allan Gilbreath; son, Bryan Seals and wife, Lydia Seals; and nephew, Sean McGowen. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and several other nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the Seals Family asks that you consider making a memorial contribution in David’s name to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief at www.samaritanspurse.org, or The Boys Ranch of Amarillo at www.calfarley.org.
