Boyd ISD to upgrade baseball, softball field; Turf fields to be ready in March

Boyd baseball and softball players will be charging onto new playing surfaces in the spring. Boyd ISD trustees Monday night approved slightly more than $1 million in upgrades to the existing baseball and softball fields.
