ONLY IN WISE…SATURDAY, MARCH 7: 300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 2610 — Caller stated they sent approximately $4,300 dollars to who he believed was a celebrity comedian from Netflix who lives in California. He believed he was setting up a meet and greet in order to get to know the person better.

ONLY IN WISE…TUESDAY, FEB. 24: SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Dispatch was contacted by a woman on behalf of an incarcerated man reporting theft by check. Investigation showed the man was supposed to be getting a refund check for $3,200. His ex-girlfriend reached out to the attorney and convinced him to write and send the check to her on the man’s behalf. Check was then written and mailed to the ex-girlfriend who cashed the check shortly after.

ONLY IN WISE…SATURDAY, FEB. 21: 300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4840 — Caller informed deputies that a man had been drunk at the RV park. When caller asked the man to stop cussing around his daughter, the man got angry and threw a piece of a brick at their RV, denting the side of it causing damage. The man left on foot and could not be located.

ONLY IN WISE…THURSDAY, FEB. 12: 200 BLOCK OF STUART STREET — Deputies responded to a fiber cell tower site behind the address. An employee of the telecommunication company advised an unknown intoxicated man was upset with their work lights and generator from their fiber trailer. The reporting person agreed to turn a few of the lights off, and the man left. After continuing to work, the employee later exited the trailer and discovered the fiber junction cabinet was completely destroyed, and all the fiber lines/power lines were cut and ripped out.

ONLY IN WISE…TUESDAY, FEB. 3: PRIVATE ROAD 4768 — A man wished to file a report on his neighbor for damaging his farm equipment. Deputy found the farm equipment was damaged when his neighbor flipped it over with his skid-steer.

ONLY IN WISE…SATURDAY, JAN. 24: 100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 3802 — A woman stated a man threw a broom at her and left the residence. He was found nearby hiding from deputies in a field. Investigation revealed the man swung a broom at her, missing, and denting a metal refrigerator door. The man was arrested for assault by threat – family member.

ONLY IN WISE…FRIDAY, JAN. 16: 5000 BLOCK OF TEXAS 114 EAST — Complainant stated a former tenant had returned after the lease was over to take a circuit breaker.

ONLY IN WISE…THURSDAY, JAN. 8: QUAIL RIDGE RV — Caller stated a caregiver had stolen two of his stainless steel pots.

ONLY IN WISE…SATURDAY, JAN. 3: 1700 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3791 — Caller stated an Amazon driver stole her dog after delivering a package to her residence.
