A Lake Bridgeport woman was arrested for murder Monday following a shooting Sunday night.
The shooting happened just after 10 p.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of Trinity Circle off Farm Road 1658 in Lake Bridgeport, according to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the home and found a man deceased.

“A 46-year-old white male resident was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds,” the WCSO stated in a news release Monday morning. “An investigation was conducted by investigators, and crime scene personnel, whereby probable cause was established for the arrest of Sandy Micheal Williams, a 45-year-old white female.”
On Monday afternoon, the WCSO identified the victim as Michael C. Thomas. His body has been sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
Williams was also a resident of the home, the sheriff’s office said.
Wise County Jail records show Williams is being held on a charge of murder with bond set at $50,000.
Texas Rangers are assisting WCSO investigators on the case.
Wise County EMS and Lake Bridgeport Fire Department also responded to the call Sunday night.
