FRIDAY, OCT. 10

2300 BLOCK OF MONOCEROS DRIVE — Deputies spoke with a man who advised he and his wife were separating. She was intoxicated and began yelling at him and ordering him out of the residence due to a previous assaultive incident. The man indicated the woman began throwing things at him, which included a Halloween candy bowl, liquor Sphere, wine bottle and ceramic plate which struck him in the back/side. The man claimed the woman struck him in the back of the head with an open hand palm strike as well. The woman was placed under arrest for the Class C offense of assault family violence.

MONDAY, OCT. 6

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1380 — Initially dispatched as an abandoned vehicle on the side of the road, registered owner information was found to be at a nearby residence. It was found the driver of the vehicle had sustained injuries from a crash and was transported to her house. Medics were contacted and provided treatment on scene. Crash report was generated. 

TUESDAY, OCT. 7

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4280 — Complainant advised their son was actively shooting weapons from inside the residence with bullets passing over outside. The son was detained, and through investigation it was determined multiple shots were taken from inside the residence. Consent to search property was given, resulting in three firearms and 5.88 grams of suspected methamphetamine being seized. Subject was charged accordingly and taken to jail.

2300 BLOCK OF U.S. 380 WEST — Complainant said an individual was harassing them about selling their house and attempting to file a motion to claim possession of the property.

 WEDNESDAY, OCT. 8

1200 BLOCK OF NICHOLS PLACE — Deputies were dispatched to a disturbance call. Deputies arrived and both parties were separated. An investigation was conducted, and a man was placed into custody for Class C assault family violence.

U.S. 380 WESTBOUND — While stopped at the traffic light at CEFCO, deputy observed a 2004 Chevy Tahoe run the red light. Deputy turned initiated a traffic stop. A computerized search of the driver’s license revealed an active warrant out of Wise County. Driver was taken into custody and transported to jail for booking.

8300 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 51 SOUTH — Complainant advised their granddaughter has been missing since Sept. 25. Deputies took a missing person’s report. 

100 BLOCK OF PARADISE COUNTRY TRAIL — At a disturbance call, both parties alleged an assault. Deputies gathered information and took photographs. An offense report was generated to be forwarded to investigators.

100 BLOCK OF GRIFFIN STREET — A woman said she had been shoved to the ground multiple times by her daughter causing minor bodily injury. The suspect fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.

THURSDAY, OCT. 9

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1111 — Complainant advised she had been scammed out of approximately $10,500. The complainant said she had attempted to log into her Amazon account when she received a spoof alert stating it was locked and to call a certain phone number. Complainant advised she called the phone number listed and spoke to Amazon Support who advised she would get contacted by her bank due to a fraudulent transaction. The complainant was then contacted by a fake bank representative who instructed her to withdraw $10,500 and deposit into a cryptocurrency account. The complainant advised she followed the instructions and deposited the money. The complainant advised she then told family members of the incident who advised her it was a scam.

200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3799 — Complainant advised a rock bucket with a grapple attached had been stolen from the property.  Investigation showed a neighbor had some brush clearing done by another family member who took and used the bucket, believing it belongs to the family as there is no fence line or boundary separating the two properties. Complainant did not wish to pursue charges.

FRIDAY, OCT. 10

100 BLOCK OF HOLSTER HOLLOW ROAD — A man had been assaulted by a woman in his vehicle. The woman had left the scene before deputies’ arrival. The man was a protected party from an emergency protective order placed on the female party. Deputies gathered information and are filing charges at large.  

100 BLOCK OF SOUTH CHEYENNE TRAIL — Deputies were dispatched to a medical emergency/CPR in progress. Medics arrived prior to deputy’s arrival and began medical treatment before transporting the person to Medical City Decatur. The 66-year-old woman was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. Deputy arrived at the hospital and collected all pertinent information and photographs for investigators.

SATURDAY, OCT. 11

100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4438 — Caller stated her brother dragged her by the hair. The man was arrested for assault causes bodily injury–family member.

SUNDAY, OCT. 12

EAST MORTON STREET — Deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Charger and motorcycle driving in tandem. The Charger pulled over and the motorcycle fled. Boyd Police Department initiated a pursuit with the motorcycle, which crashed on the service road of South U.S. 81/287. The male motorcycle operator fled on foot and was not located.  The occupants of the Charger positively identified the man who fled. Boyd PD will file an evading charge on the man who fled.

200 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 920 — A woman explained that she returned home and observed one of her vehicles was missing. The woman’s son later located the vehicle, which had been involved in a collision, nearby. 

COUNTY ROAD 3214 — Complainant wanted to provide information in reference to a missing person. Information collected and will be forwarded to Wise County investigators and Texas Rangers.

MONDAY, OCT. 13

300 BLOCK OF KRISTI LANE — A woman advised she had an active emergency protective order against her ex-husband at the location. The complainant advised her ex-husband had been seen on the property by her father and was also recorded on security camera footage. The complainant advised that the door to the residence was unlocked and it was unknown if the ex-husband was inside. Deputies conducted a safety sweep of the residence to locate the husband. Deputies observed a methamphetamine lab and precursor chemicals in plain view. Deputies held the scene until narcotics investigators arrived at the location. Deputies were also able to locate a GPS tracker device that had been placed in the complainant’s vehicle. Deputies also discovered the suspect had previously been arrested for violation of the EPO by another agency within a 12-month period. While waiting for additional officers, the suspect was observed in the area. Deputies were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody.

300 BLOCK OF WILD OAK HILL DRIVE — Complainant advised two batteries were taken from an oil well site.
