WEDNESDAY, DEC. 10

U.S. 81/287 SOUTHBOUND AT FARM ROAD 2264 — People inside a Black Jeep Cherokee were hitting each other and yelling. They exited vehicle and continued striking each other.

MONDAY, DEC. 1

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Homeowner wanted to press charges for criminal trespass.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A man stated his daughter fraudulently opened five bank loans in his name totaling approximately $75,000.

2000 BLOCK OF U.S. 81/287 — Complainant arrived at the sheriff’s office to make a vehicle burglary report. Deputy possibly had finger prints attached to a rifle that was left behind.

5000 BLOCK OF TEXAS 114 EAST — Complainant advised a $42,000 trailer was stolen over the holiday weekend and was currently pinging on a GPS system in Illinois.

200 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4687 — Caller advised an internet box was taken from a pole attached to his residence in September, and his internet company was insisting on charging him for it unless there was a report generated.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A woman reported she had been a victim of fraud. Deputies contacted the complainant and determined she was a victim of theft.

200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1571 — Complainant indicated an unknown person opened a line of credit using her Social Security number without her consent. Deputies collected the necessary information and completed an offense report for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.

TUESDAY, DEC. 2

200 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 1307 — A woman stated she was contacted by a man posing as a Wise County deputy who advised her she had a warrant for her arrest. She wired the “deputy” approximately $4,000 to pay her fines.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 3

600 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3696 — A man advised his dog had escaped from his yard, and a stranger had located the dog. The complainant advised the stranger had posted about finding the dog, and the complainant had contacted him about the dog. The complainant advised the stranger refused to return the dog and did not respond to his communication.

THURSDAY, DEC. 4

500 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 730 NORTH — Caller stated she believed her ex-daughter in law is stalking her electronically in violation of an existing protective order.

FRIDAY, DEC. 5

MEDICAL CITY DECATUR — Deputies were notified that a man was attempting to flee the hospital due to having an active warrant from another county. Deputies began searching for the man and later apprehended him after he fled on foot through a wooded area behind the hospital.

SATURDAY, DEC. 6

FARM ROAD 718 SOUTH OF FARM ROAD 3433 — Deputy observed a vehicle operating on the roadway without lights when required. Deputy conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver who was subsequently found to have an invalid driver license and multiple previous convictions for driving while license invalid. Deputy placed the driver under arrest for DWLI with previous convictions.

SUNDAY, DEC. 7

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A man reported he paid a contractor company to repair his roof, however once the contractor received payment for the job, the contractor never returned to complete the job.

200 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4907 — Caller stated he had been pushed by his roommate, but it did not cause him pain. Later on during the investigation, the caller stated the push did actually cause him pain. Deputies separated the roommates for the evening and filed charges at large due to different and changing stories from both parties.

1300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3791 — Deputies received a report of a forgery/fraud and conducted an investigation. An offense was found to have occurred and charges were filed at large.

MONDAY, DEC. 8

NORTHSTAR PARKWAY AT U.S. 81/287 — Complainant advised someone broke into two containers on a construction site. Multiple tools were stolen.

100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4675 — A man stated he was keeping approximately $27,000 in a safe at a friend’s house, and the money was stolen.

300 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4874 — A woman advised multiple fraudulent charges were made to her bank account totaling approximately $10,000.

100 BLOCK OF VALLEY COURT — Complainant wanted to report a sexual assault of a third party. The complainant stated he was made aware of it by another man who heard it from the child’s mother while she was drinking. The other man told the complainant due to the complainant and the mother sharing custody of a child.

TUESDAY, DEC. 9

4000 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 1810 — Deputy stopped a vehicle which was believed to contain a missing juvenile and for failure to stop at an intersection. Vehicle failed to yield and ultimately crashed in a field. The vehicle’s occupants evaded arrest on foot, and charges will be filed at large.

FARM ROAD 1810 AT COUNTY ROAD 1180 — Deputies responded to a report of two juveniles walking down FM 1810. One juvenile was found to be armed with a handgun, in possession of a THC vape pen and had been reported as missing. The juveniles were identified as the suspects of a stolen vehicle and pursuit that occurred on a prior shift. The missing juvenile was taken into custody, and the other juvenile was released to his mother. 

200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4657 — Caller wishes to report further theft. Deputy arrived and observed the theft occurred in the same manner as the last theft report.

8000 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 730 SOUTH — A woman advised a man drove through her driveway and struck her. She insisted on following the man into a business the next city over. Investigation revealed the man did not strike the caller as she described. After gaining witness information and statements, deputy cleared with an incident report. 

1200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3850 — Complainant advised she paid $1,018.31 to a company to replace her windshield. After paying the company, the complainant did not hear back from them and could not get ahold of them. Complainant wished to press charges.

100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4657 — Deputies were dispatched in regards to a disturbance. Upon arrival, deputies observed the reporting party to have blood on her face. While speaking with the reporting party she advised she had been assaulted by her ex-girlfriend who had fled the scene before deputies’ arrival. Deputies attempted to locate and call the suspect but were unsuccessful. Deputies collected information and were later advised that another woman witnessed the incident. Deputies spoke with the woman who advised the reporting party was the initial aggressor. Deputies are forwarding this report to CID for further investigation.

WEDNESDAY, DEC. 10

TEXAS 114 EASTBOUND AT HONEYSUCKLE — During the course of a traffic stop, both the driver and front passenger (convicted felons) were found in possession of firearms. Both parties were placed into custody and charged accordingly.

THURSDAY, DEC. 11

4900 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 2264 — Deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver identified himself by his Texas identification card and advised he did not have a driver license due to previous DWI arrests. Deputies conducted a routine check of the man’s driver license status and saw the driving privileges were currently suspended due to a mandatory suspension for driving while intoxicated. Deputies further observed the driving record displayed four previous convictions and an additional conviction for driving while license invalid. The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Wise County Jail where he was charged with DWLI with previous convictions.

100 BLOCK OF OAK GROVE — A man stated he lost more than $150,000 in an online cryptocurrency scam.

4600 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 2264 — A woman reported approximately $500 worth of construction materials had been stolen from her property.

1800 BLOCK OF ERIDANUS DRIVE — Caller advised her ex-spouse was in her closet, and he was not supposed to be there due to having an active emergency protective order against him. The man fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival.

2500 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 2265 — Deputies responded to a 911 hang-up where a woman was heard crying before hanging up the phone. Upon arrival, deputies identified the hang-up as a family disturbance. A woman was described to have assaulted a man by striking him in the face and kicking him. She was placed under arrest for assault/family violence and transported to the Wise County Jail without incident.

FRIDAY, DEC. 12

900 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1450 — A man advised he went to check on his daughter’s property and discovered the gate had been knocked down. Upon further investigation the caller discovered someone had entered the residence but could not confirm if anything had been taken.

SATURDAY, DEC. 13

100 BLOCK OF HIGH COUNTRY ROAD — Complainant advised an unknown person unlawfully appropriated money using a relationship of confidence with the victim.

100 BLOCK OF DABNEY COURT — A woman advised of damage from a car which hit her fence line. Deputy took report for striking fixed object.

U.S. 81/287 AT FARM ROAD 407 — An off-duty Tarrant County deputy called in an individual driving erratically. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle. The driver was believed to be intoxicated. Driver was placed in custody.

300 BLOCK OF SUNFLOWER — Deputies responded to a one-vehicle major accident on Sunflower Road. The driver reported she fell asleep and woke up after going off the roadway. The vehicle suffered damage and was towed from the scene. The driver was transported to Medical City Decatur.

100 BLOCK OF TOM SAWYER LANE — Deputy received credible information advising that a wanted person was located at the residence. Deputy arrived and located the man. He was placed under arrest. The man was searched, and a THC pen was found in his possession.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Complainant advised he was assaulted by a man on Dec. 6, and now the man has been showing up to his work.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A woman advised a known person came onto her property trespassing with a weapon.

SUNDAY, DEC. 14

500 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3390 — Complainant advised she and her husband have an emergency protective order against their daughter-in-law, and she has been constantly texting them regarding their granddaughter. Deputy had previously met with the complainant on Dec. 12 regarding the same issue. Deputy collected the text messages and other pertinent information and took an offense report for violation of EPO.  

100 BLOCK OF QUAIL LANE — Following a civil dispute, one party called back to make a harassment report over the phone.
