100 BLOCK OF LEXINGTON COURT — A man advised his chicken coup was destroyed while he was taking a nap. Investigation revealed the coup was likely destroyed by a strong dust whirl that went through the area within the time frame given. Incident report was created in case further information is found.
MONDAY, JULY 28
100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4293 — A brother and sister had a physical altercation. Deputies determined the brother to be the primary aggressor. He was arrested.
500 BLOCK OF WEST STADIUM DRIVE — Married couple got into an argument over ongoing family matters. The husband took the wife’s phone away because she refused to stop recording him. The wife then struck the husband on his left ear, causing pain, bleeding and redness. He did not retaliate. She was arrested for the assault.
TUESDAY, JULY 29
200 BLOCK OF TOWER DRIVE — Rhome Police Department requested Wise County response for an individual reporting an assault that occurred in Newark approximately a week and a half ago in which caller’s ex-boyfriend held a knife to her throat.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 30
100 BLOCK OF NORTH BUFFALO STREET — Caller advised four juveniles vandalized the Chico city park. The door to a shed located in the park had multiple paint buckets that appeared to be tampered with. Paint was observed to be on the concrete surrounding the shed as well as in the dirt.
THURSDAY, JULY 31
100 BLOCK OF DOVE STREET — A man advised he was assaulted by his father, mother and brother.
3300 BLOCK OF U.S. 81/287 SOUTH — Complainant advised an unknown person broke a window and entered the business. Multiple chain saws were stolen.
100 BLOCK OF BROOKE DRIVE — A woman advised she is a home health nurse and left a Samsung tablet on her vehicle before driving to her next visit, leading to the tablet being lost. Complainant requested an information report so her employer can replace the tablet.
800 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 2360 — Complainant advised his debit card had been charged for multiple fraudulent purchases in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
200 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4687 — Dispatch notified deputies of an armed person at the above residence. Upon arrival deputies interviewed multiple parties. It was later discovered no firearm was brandished in a threatening manner.
400 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 4732 — Deputies investigated an assault that occurred earlier in the day.
100 BLOCK OF DROVER RIDGE ROAD — After responding to a disturbance, deputies discovered the man had assaulted his wife. Deputies placed the man in custody for assault and transported him to the Wise County Jail.
FRIDAY, AUG. 1
MARTIN MARIETTA AGGREGATE — Complainant was contacted by a truck driver about a theft that occurred on their yard. Driver knew where the material was taken to.
100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 1635 — A woman contacted the Sheriff’s Office about a known neighbor stealing electricity from her vacant residence via a green extension cord.
COUNTY ROAD 4851/COUNTY ROAD 4850 — Deputies were dispatched to the area in reference to two young males walking around unsupervised in nothing but diapers and T-shirts. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with Newark FD who had located the juveniles. While on scene, a woman arrived on scene with the juveniles’ 11 year-old-sister. The woman advised she located the sister walking down the road and advised her she was looking for her brothers. Deputies spoke with the sister who advised she and her brothers were being watched by her aunt while their mother was at work. The aunt later left the sister in charge of the children so she could go visit her boyfriend. The mother was contacted and the children were released back to her. CPS was contacted.
SATURDAY, AUG. 2
100 BLOCK OF GRIFFIN STREET — After responding to a disturbance, deputies made contact with a woman who had blood on her face and fresh bruises. She advised she was lying in bed when her boyfriend became upset, picked her up and then body slammed her on the ground. The boyfriend then proceeded to punch her in the face multiple times. Deputies placed the boyfriend in custody and transported him to the county jail for booking.
500 BLOCK OF WEST LIVE OAK — Deputies responded to a disturbance and after investigation arrested the primary aggressor.
1000 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3451 — A man stated that siding and building materials were taken from his property on July 3 and July 18 in the early morning hours on both days. Complainant said a box truck backed up to his property and proceeded to load the materials.
SUNDAY, AUG. 3
ALVORD ALLSUPS — Deputies conducted an investigation of an indecent assault which resulted in a charge filed at large.
1800 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3855 — A woman advised she went outside this morning and noticed multiple bullet holes in the exterior and interior of the shop on their property.
