THURSDAY, APRIL 16

2000 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 718 — A woman was upset that the man she was dating possibly cheated on her, so she broke the man’s marijuana bongs. Deputies could not determine if an assault took place, but due to the drug paraphernalia, CPS was contacted and an incident report was taken.

SUNDAY, APRIL 12

5700 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 1810 — Deputies responded to a suspicious activity call where a burglary may have occurred and attempted to detain a male suspect who actively resisted and ran, leading to a foot pursuit. The suspect was taken into custody for multiple offenses.

MONDAY, APRIL 13

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — A woman wished to report fraudulent activity with her American Airlines account. Deputies found the offense of fraudulent use/possession of identifying information less than five items to have occurred. Complainant wished to press charges.

LUKE ROAD/BULLION ROAD — A man said he arrived at the gas pipeline site for service and noticed a battery was stolen from the meter. Complainant advised this has happened several times and wished to have this documented for the company. Complainant also advised the camera system they have inside the shed was not working during the time of the incident, and the value of the battery was approximately $250.

14000 BLOCK OF BOOTES DRIVE — Two parents were arguing over their relationship status. The man took their 2-year-old son and put him in bed with his mother. The child’s mother became infuriated and began cussing and banging on the door. All parties stated they had seen physical contact, but no one would state they were offended or hurt in the altercation. CPS was contacted.

TUESDAY, APRIL 14

100 BLOCK OF EL DORADO — A 36-year-old female explained that her 38-year-old brother assaulted her. Deputies conducted an investigation which resulted in the brother being placed under arrest.

U.S. 81/287 AT NORTH FARM ROAD 1655 — Deputies observed a man standing on the shoulder of the highway. Deputies made contact with the man who was found to have an active warrant out of pardon and parole. Deputies placed the man in custody.

12000 BLOCK OF AZURE HEIGHTS PLAZA — Deputies responded to a 911 hang up and discovered an ongoing domestic disturbance. Deputies interviewed all parties involved and determined that a woman had thrown a glass object at a man, causing small cuts on his hand. The man advised he did not feel any pain from his injuries but was offended by the contact and felt the woman was trying to provoke a physical altercation. Deputies placed the woman under arrest for assault by contact/family violence.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15

200 BLOCK OF SCHOOL OAKS ROAD — A woman requested a welfare check on her elderly father due to not being able to locate him. The man was not present at his residence, and a missing person report was filed.

100 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3661 — Complainant said they performed work on a vehicle for a customer. Payment was made for services, and work was completed. Three days later, the customer disputed charges on Venmo to get out of paying for work completed on the vehicle. Complainant attempted several times have customer pay. Complainant wishes to pursue criminal charges for theft of service.

200 BLOCK OF DRIFTER DRIVE — A man reported his mother and older brother were in a physical altercation. Upon investigation it was determined the older brother committed the offense of assault causes bodily injury family member. The older brother left the scene prior to deputies’ arrival. Charges were filed at large.

THURSDAY, APRIL 16

3000 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 2264 — Victim was assaulted by her boyfriend. An offense was generated for assault causes bodily injury family member.

300 BLOCK OF FARM ROAD 718 — Deputies observed a man stumbling near the roadway. Deputies contacted the man, and he was investigated for intoxication. The man was arrested for public intoxication.

SHERIFF’S OFFICE — Complainant reported she had made three mortgage payments to a man identifying himself as representative of her mortgage company.

FRIDAY, APRIL 17

1000 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 3555 — A man alleged an emergency protective order had been violated.

200 BLOCK OF COUNTY ROAD 4421 — Caller reported a theft.

5000 BLOCK OF TEXAS 114 EAST — Someone cut the fuel lines and possibly damaged more property.

1200 BLOCK OF SUNFLOWER — A woman reported she is having issues getting into her account and has contacted the fraud division due to her account possibly being hacked with money taken from her account. Deputy determined she was scammed out of approximately $47,000.

500 BLOCK OF WEST ROCK ISLAND — Deputy stopped a vehicle for weaving inside lane and driving on an improved shoulder. Observations on this stop warranted a DWI investigation. Deputies conducted field sobriety tests and determined that the man was intoxicated. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

SUNDAY, APRIL 19

300 BLOCK OF GREENWOOD ROAD — An 84-year-old male explained that his grandson assaulted him, however he was not injured and felt no pain. The grandson left the scene prior to deputies arriving. The man did not want to press charges, Deputies asked him to contact the sheriff’s office if grandson returns due to him having an assault warrant.

100 BLOCK OF PRIVATE ROAD 3508 — A woman’s ex-boyfriend threw feces and urine onto her while she was sleeping. Deputy determined the individual entered the residence without permission and committed an assault, warranting the offense of burglary of a habitation.

200 BLOCK OF BANJO TRAIL — Caller wanted to report that her soon-to-be ex-sister-in-law showed up at her residence, beating on the front door. She was not at home when this occurred but wanted to speak with deputies regarding steps moving forward, filing criminal charges, including the possibility of filing a criminal trespass warning against the suspected parties.
