Krista Barber is the new Wise County Chamber of Commerce executive director.
The Wise County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday announced Krista Barber as the organization’s new executive director.
Barber currently serves on the Boyd ISD School Board as its secretary. In its announcement, the chamber also said Barber has been heavily involved with Boyd Youth Association, PTO, SHAC committee and Boyd Education Foundation for the last two decades.
Barber takes over for former executive director Mende Hanley, who announced her departure from the position in May.
