Nearly all Wise County schools will end up taking the whole week off thanks to driving hazards caused by Winter Storm Fern.
Area schools on five-day instructional calendars opted to close Friday, Jan. 30, except Boyd ISD, which will welcome back students on 2-hour delay.
Four-day districts Decatur ISD and Chico ISD weren’t scheduled to host class on Friday, and will join Northwest ISD, Bridgeport ISD, Paradise ISD, Alvord ISD and Slidell ISD in welcoming back students on Monday, Feb. 2.
Boyd’s start and release times tomorrow are as follows:
- Boyd Elementary School: 9:45 a.m.–3:25 p.m.
- Boyd Primary School: 9:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
- Boyd Intermediate/Middle School: 10 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
- Boyd HS: 10 a.m.–3:45 p.m.
Victory Christian will also have a delayed start Friday.
