William Lance Parker, 55, went to be with our Lord on Monday, April 20, 2026, in Bridgeport.
Funeral service is 2 p.m. Monday, April 27, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial at Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Lance was born on Aug. 19, 1970, to William Allen and Sherry Lynn (Coursey) Parker in Fort Worth. He devoted his life to serving our country in the United States Army, and after his dedicated service, he retired with honors. Lance was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Allen Parker.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Briggs Parker and his mother, Brandi of Bridgeport; his mother, Sherry Parker-Lemon of Bridgeport; his sister, Shanna Mowery and her husband, Jerrod of Bridgeport; his nieces, Lauren Mowery and Nikki Moody and her husband, Jake; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
