DECATUR BOND SURVEY OPEN TO COMMUNITY — Decatur ISD is seeking input from the community about a potential May bond election through an online survey. Input gathered from the survey will be considered by the bond planning committee in making a recommendation to the school board next month regarding a possible bond election. The committee has spent the past few months reviewing the district’s long-range plan, critical needs and potential solutions to the most pressing issues. BINGO BASH — Paradise Buyers Association’s annual Bingo Bash fundraiser is 6 p.m. Saturday at the Paradise High School Cafeteria. It will feature a 50/50 raffle, chili dinner at 6 p.m. followed by bingo at 6:30. All proceeds will be used for Paradise FFA, 4H and FCCLA members’ Wise County Youth Fair project purchases and end of year scholarships.

OFFICE CLOSURE — New Fairview City Hall will be closed Friday for staff development but will reopen to normal business hours next week.
MOTHER/SON DANCE — Bridgeport Parks and Recreation will present its annual Mother/Son Dance “Totally Awesome 80s” Jan. 31 at Bridgeport Community Center.
