WIND ADVISORY/BAN IN EFFECT — Windy, dry conditions today will lead to an elevated fire threat, and we could see a snowflake or two on Saturday. A wind advisory is in effect today with peak wind gusts up to 40 mph. Overnight, temperatures will drop to around 30 degrees with a 10 percent chance of sprinkles or snow flurries before noon Saturday. Any snow that falls will quickly melt on contact, according to the National Weather Service, as high temperatures will climb to about 44 on Saturday.
