Four juveniles were injured — two critically — in a side-by-side ATV accident Saturday afternoon in the 300 block of County Road 3250.
Wise County EMS Chief Randall Preuninger said all four juveniles were riding in the off-road vehicle when it crashed around 4:30 p.m.
Three were taken by Wise County EMS to Medical City Decatur, including two in critical condition and one in serious condition. One of the critically injured juveniles was later flown to Cook Children’s Medical Center by PHI Air Medical 10.
The fourth juvenile had minor injuries and was not transported.
Wise County EMS (Rescue 1, Squad 1, Medic 1 and Medic 5), Decatur Fire Department and the Wise County Fire Marshal’s Office responded.
