FREEDOM FEST — Freedom Fest is June 28 in Runaway Bay. Events begin at noon and conclude with a fireworks show over Lake Bridgeport that night. The event will also include food trucks, vendors, bounce house, water slides, live music, petting zoo and pony rides. The fire department will have a water cannon presentation, and the Wise County Veterans will provide a colors presentation and fire a Civil War cannon. Turtle races will be held in the afternoon following the golf cart parade.
