An elderly man was flown to a Metroplex hospital after suffering a traumatic injury near Keeter Tuesday night.
The incident occurred at about 5 p.m. in the 100 block of County Road 4795.
Wise County EMS Administrator Randall Preuninger the man was critically injured after a tractor tire he was inflating exploded.
He was flown by AirEvac-68 to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth.
