Justice Marie Sandlin went to be with our Lord Sunday, July 31, 2022, in Dallas. She was 26 years old.
Justice was born in Decatur, March 22, 1996, and grew up there, She loved sports, especially soccer. She embraced life to the fullest and loved to try new things. She also had a love for animals, which was apparent because she tried saving every stray and bring them home.
Justice will be lovingly remembered by her husband Tye; children, Baylor Marie and Ashton Dale; brothers, Steven Sampson of Texarkana, Austin Sampson of Decatur, Marcus Stratton Simpson of Sherman; sisters, Mackenzie Hall of Decatur and Zulynn Simpson of Decatur; parents, Marcus and Venetia Simpson of Decatur; in-Laws, Ronnie and Staci Sandlin of Denton; grandparents, Rodney and Deborah Fetterolf of Rhome; great-grandmothers, Mary Proffer of Rhome and Jean Fetterolf of Sherman.
Justice was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Emma Grace Sandlin; grandfather, Steven Dale Wendt; grandparents, Royce and Lynda Simpson; great-grandparents, Harold Proffer, Gary Fetterolf, Maurice and Mildred Wendt; and many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Aug. 13, at Gospel Life Baptist Church, 3483 FM 51, Decatur. Chris Thorne will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American SIDS Institute in honor of Justice’s daughter, Emma Grace Sandlin.
