Joshua Derrick McEntire, 35, of Cottondale, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, in Decatur.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Joshua was born on Mar. 15, 1990, to Samuel Don and Pamela Kay (Cornell) McEntire in Fort Worth. He was a dedicated pipeline worker in the oilfield for ONEOK, a challenging job that required hard work and commitment. His contributions played an important role in the industry. Joshua was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his older brother, Christopher Don McEntire; his grandparents, Silas and Mary McEntire and Richard and Rosa Cornell; and his uncle, Eddie Kilpatrick.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Samuel and Pam McEntire; his siblings, Scott McEntire and his wife, Kelsi of Paradise, Christian McEntire and his wife, Sierra of Cottondale, Rayanna Brock and her husband, Michael of Morgan Mill, and Landen McEntire and his wife, Zoey of Cottondale; his niece and nephew, his pride and joy, Spencer and Scottie; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
