Snead
Dixie Lynn Snead was born on June 29, 1953, to Mary Lou and Charles Wendell Worthington in Fort Worth. She died Jan. 8, 2026, in Decatur.
She married Winston Scott Snead on Aug. 30, 1980, on the Colorado River near Bend. She was blessed with two wonderful daughters, Macy and Carly.
Lynn, Scott and their family were blessed beyond measure by God with many years of love and laughter.
Lynn was preceded in death by her mother and father.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott; daughter, Carly Snead; first-born daughter, Macy Lambert and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Lillian and Brodie; her brothers, Donny Worthington and wife, Peggy, and Michael Worthington and wife, Karem Rodriguez; nephews and nieces, David, John, Mary, Brittany, Blake, Karen, Alejandra, Diego and Jorge and their spouses; and many more grand nieces and nephews. Lynn is also survived by friends so special to her heart that they are family.
Public visitation will be held at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur, on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 4-6 p.m. Private burial will be at Aurora Cemetery in Aurora.
