The Decatur Education Foundation awarded close to $90,000 in grants to Decatur ISD teachers and staff this month, funding a wide range of classroom projects across the district.

The $88,828.45 in grants will support new classroom tools and experiences, ranging from technology and ag shop equipment to band instruments and theatre program upgrades.

“These funds are heading straight into the classroom to inspire our students at all six DISD campuses,” the Decatur Education Foundation said in its announcement.

Decatur High School — $30,031.01
