Springfield, Missouri ~ Christa Dawn Terry, 37, and her infant daughter, Sereia Sloanne Terry, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, in Springfield, Mo.
Funeral was Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with burial at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Rev. Dewayne Deskins and Rev. Chad Word officiated. Pallbearers were JT Fallon, Brendin Fallon, Mickye Fallon, Diego Rojo, Jonny Pugsley, Austin Hicks and Brent Owen.
Christa was born on Aug. 1, 1985, to Nancy Pugsley in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to Justin Terry on Sept. 13, 2014, in Runaway Bay. Christa was a food and beverage manager at Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield, Mo. She loved spending time at the ocean and with her family. Christa was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and a friend to many who will miss her dearly.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Justin Terry; her children, Tessa and Willow Terry; her mother, Nancy Pugsley; her father-in-law, Duffy Terry and Susie Hodges; her mother-in-law, Paula Terry; her grandmother, Kay “Mimi” Pugsley; her siblings, Matthew and Ryan Minix; her aunt and uncle, Marsha Pugsley-Owen and Kenny Pugsley; her cousins, Brent Owen, Lia Bray, Alyssa Grimes, Bethany Pugsley and Jonny Pugsley; her extended family, Richele Rojo, Belinda Fallon and husband, Jimmy, and Danny Terry; other relatives and a host of friends.
