
Two people were injured in a head-on collision on County Road 3657 in the Salt Creek area Monday night.
Wise County EMS responded to the two-vehicle accident involving a passenger car and an SUV just before 5 p.m.
Wise County EMS Chief Randall Preuninger said that one patient was seriously injured and flown by Air Evac Lifeteam 68 to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
The second patient, who was reportedly in stable condition, was taken to Medical City Decatur.
Wise County EMS (Rescue-1, Squad-1, Medic-2, Medic-3) Wise County ESD No. 3, Wise County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety were among the agencies that responded to the accident.
