One person was reportedly killed and two people were injured after a single-vehicle wreck Sunday morning.
The wreck occurred at 8:41 a.m. in the 1800 block of Ross Lane, southwest of Boyd.
According to Wise County EMS administrator Randall Preuninger, three people were riding in a utility task vehicle (UTV) when the vehicle overturned.
An adult female was pronounced dead at the scene, Preuninger confirmed.
One of the injured victims was flown by Lifeteam 68 to Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth in serious condition. The other patient was listed in stable condition, and was taken via ground ambulance to Medical City Decatur.
The identities of the deceased and the injured victims has not been released.
Wise County Sheriff’s Office and Texas Department of Public Safety, as well as Wise County EMS Rescue 1, Squad 1, and Medics 2 and 5, responded to the scene.
