Eight people were transported to the hospital after a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 81/287 north of Decatur Wednesday night. Capacity at Wise Health System continued to improve this week as the latest surge of COVID-19 cases continues to subside. Wise Health System reported 20 COVID-19 positive patients admitted for treatment Thursday, the same as earlier in the week. The med/surg/ICU capacity decreased to 75 percent from 83 percent Tuesday.
