MAN INJURED IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH — An Azle man was flown to a Fort Worth hospital from an accident south of Boyd Saturday afternoon. Richard Dahlgren, 64, sustained undisclosed injuries and was flown by Air Evac Lifeteam 68 to Fort Worth after the motorcycle he was riding struck a vehicle around 1:30 p.m. Dahlgren was southbound on Farm Road 730 South on a 2018 BMW motorcycle. According to Department of Public Safety spokesman Sgt. Ricky Hunter, preliminary investigation indicates a 2001 Ford F-150 pickup was stopped on Farm Road 2048 at a stop sign. The Ford, driven by 17-year-old Kyle Rose of Springtown, failed to yield the right-of-way as it attempted to make a turn onto FM 730. Dahlgren’s motorcycle struck the truck. Rose was not injured.
