NORTH TEXAS GIVING DAY — North Texas Giving Day, an online giving event that supports more than 3,000 local nonprofits, is today. One website hosts numerous charities from across North Texas counties where people can easily make donations online. Wise County nonprofits participating in Giving Day include the Wise County Committee on Aging, Inc., Wise County Christian Counseling, United Way of Wise County, Wise Health Foundation, CASA of Wise and Jack Counties and Addy’s Hope Adoption Agency. The website has been open for early donations since Sept. 1 and will be accepting donations through today. Visit northtexasgivingday.org to make your donations.
