JUDGE ISSUES DISASTER DECLARATION – County Judge J.D. Clark Monday afternoon issued a local disaster declaration and executive order for Wise County. It adds clarification and further restrictions to Gov. Greg Abbott’s executive order issued last week, according to a press release from the Wise County Office of Emergency Management. Under this declaration, non-essential businesses are to be closed. Essential businesses must implement social distancing protocols and use common-sense rationing of household products and groceries in limited supply. The executive order takes effect at 11:59 p.m. today.
