Students receive scholarships

Two local seniors received scholarships from the Vocational Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas (VATAT) during its annual professional development conference, July 27-31, in Waco. Shelby Bradshaw of Decatur and Timothy Collins of Chico each received an award. During the conference, agricultural science teachers spent the week attending professional development workshops, training classes and general sessions with motivational speakers.
