A Haslet woman died in a two-vehicle wreck near Bridgeport Friday morning.
Natalie Duke, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene by Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Willie Garrett.
Shortly after 7 a.m., Duke was driving a 2006 Toyota Prius on Farm Road 1658 as she approached U.S. 380, said Bridgeport Police Chief Steve Stanford. Duke’s vehicle crossed U.S. 380 and was struck by a 2005 Dodge truck driven by Kinsey Schuetz, 27 of Jacksboro.
“It appears Duke failed to yield right of way and was struck on the driver’s side,” Stanford said.
Schuetz was transported to Medical City Denton by ambulance. Stanford said Schuetz was in stable condition at the time.
