FALL WEATHER ON ITS WAY — A big change in the weather is coming as a strong cold front is expected to move through the area overnight. The forecast includes a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms along and behind the front. After a high near 76 today, temperatures will drop into the mid-40s overnight with temperatures expected to remain the 40s throughout the day Friday with wind chills in the 30s before a low near the freezing mark Friday night.

MZ CRAFT BEE — Thank-mas, a special MZ Craft Bee for Thanksgiving and Christmas, has been rescheduled from this Saturday to next Saturday, Nov. 19, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church. The bee will include crafting, fellowship and snacks. There will be a charcuterie board, but crafters are asked to bring snacks and an unopened, gift-wrapped package of decorative napkins for a gift exchange.
