Fraga awarded 7-4A Co-MVP

Sissies and Lady Eagles earn all-district honors

Bridgeport’s Marisol Fraga was named Co-MVP of District 7-4A, helping the Sissies to second place in the league.

Fraga also led Bridgeport to its first playoff victory, a 1-0 win over Benbrook in the bi-district round.

The Sissies’ Breanna Martinez was the Defensive MVP, while Beka Powers was the Utility Player of the Year.

Bridgeport’s keeper, Aubrey Powers, was named the league’s top keeper. She surrendered just 1.3 goals per game.

Decatur’s Sarah Dalton was the 7-4A Co-Offensive MVP.

Dalton was one of the Lady Eagles’ top goal scorers, helping Decatur to one of the program’s best seasons at 6-11.
