Cody Thomas Moore, 33, passed away Sept. 7, 2022.

Cody was born March 22, 1989, in Bedford. He graduated from Timberview High School in Mansfield.

Cody’s mom and stepdad formerly lived in Decatur and his grandparents and other family members still live in Decatur and surrounding areas.

He is survived by his mother, Tonja Hartman, father, Jeff Moore, step-father, Greg Hartman and and stepmother, Margaret Moore; siblings, Brennan Moore, Leah Hartman, Ari Hartman, Cole Moore, McKenna Moore and Bella Moore; two children, Maddox and Perri; grandparents, Roy Honeycutt and Thomas Moore, along with their spouses, Shirley and Valerie; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who loved the Cody they knew.

Cody is preceded in death by his beloved grandmothers, Barbara Honeycutt and Susan Moore.

Memorial services will be at Open Door Church, 301 S. Dobson, Burleson, 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26. His remains will be laid to rest at Moore funeral home and cemetery in Arlington, near his grandmothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be sent in memory of Cody T. Moore to Men’s Hope Center C/O Blondy Church, 529 Swan Ave., Hohenwald, TN 38462 or at blondychurch.org/ Men’s Hope Center.
