Board sets sights on pay grades

By Messenger Staff | Published Saturday, March 16, 2013

{{{*}}}Paradise ISD Superintendent Monty Chapman has stated that he hoped to have some idea of a possible replacement for former Athletic Director Danny Neighbors by the time the school board meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the district’s boardroom.

The meeting comes about a month after Neighbors submitted his resignation.

The agenda does have personnel and student matters listed for a closed session but mentions nothing specific to filling the AD position. The board plans on hearing and acting on textbook certification, updating school policies, amending the budget and discussing pay grades for professionals and para-professionals.

Prior to the meeting, Chapman will discuss districtwide enrollment figures. So far this year, the number of students at PISD has stayed steady for the most part.
