RAINY DAY - Wise County experienced a rainy Sunday, and more rain is expected today. Yesterday's rainfall totals include 0.85 of an inch in Slidell, 0.83 in Decatur, 0.65 in Alvord and 0.06 in Bridgeport and Chico.

SCV MEETING - The Sons of Confederate Veterans meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Wesley Center of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur. Member Bill Person will present the program.

OPEN HOUSE - Decatur Middle School's open house is tonight. Parents can come and go from 5-6:15 for meet the teacher night. From 6:15 to 7 will be parent meetings, 7th grade in middle school gym and 8th grade in multi-purpose gym. At 7, Jeffrey Dean will present a plugged in parenting seminar.

GED TEST - The GED Test will be administered by Bridgeport ISD March 15-16. Call (940) 683-1830 ext. 1250 or go to www.bridgeportisd.net, then click on "Community" then on "GED information" for more information. Must pre-register before March 11.

PUBLIC MEETING - The Eagle Mountain Lake and Watershed Protection planning meeting is 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, at Azle Memorial Library, 333 W. Main St., Azle. The meeting will include a report on computer modeling of pollutant levels and sources for Eagle Mountain Lake and a presentation of the economic management practice evaluation tool that will be used to develop the watershed protection plan. FUNERALS - Services for Mark Parizon, 49, of Rhome and Mechthildei Pedrick, 82, of Decatur are pending at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

GRAVESIDE service for Aurora Krichick, 57, of Galveston is 3 p.m. today at Chico Cemetery. Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport is handling arrangements.

SERVICE is pending for Cara Sylvester, 22, formerly of Decatur.
