Update for Friday, February 12, 2010
RECORD SNOWFALL - Parts of Wise County received up to a foot of snow yesterday as North Texas set a record for most snowfall in one day. The greatest snowfall reports include 12 inches in Runaway Bay and 11.5 inches in Cottondale. With temperatures this morning falling below freezing, slick and icy spots have been created on roads, making traveling difficult. Motorists are urged to use caution or not travel until after the temperature warms above freezing.
