ACCIDENT VICTIM DIES - Kent Powell, 27, of Decatur died Tuesday after he was injured in a one-car wreck early Saturday morning in Watauga. Police said the accident happened around 1:45 a.m. in the 6200 block of Chapman Road. Powell was a passenger in the car, which went out of control and struck a telephone pole. Funeral for Powell is 1 p.m. Friday at the Decatur Church of Christ with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family visitation is 6-8 tonight at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
