Bulls fall in bi-district to Carter

Playing the eighth-ranked team in 4A, Dallas Carter, the Bridgeport Bulls dug a 22-point hole going into the fourth quarter Tuesday. The Bulls fought to claw their way back into the game, cutting the deficit to eight before Carter closed out the game. Carter went on for the 70-48 victory in the Class 4A Region II bi-district game.

Hicks, Decatur outlast Pinkston in OT

With the season on the line, the Eagles put the ball in the hands of their senior leader Parker Hicks, who drew a foul with 6.7 seconds left. Needing both free throws to extend the game, the season and his career, Hicks drained them to force overtime. From there Bryce Elder started a 9-2 closing run with a 3-pointer that sent the Eagles to the 66-62 victory in the 4A Region II bi-district game at Coppell High School.

Lindsay charges past Alvord in bi-district

Alvord turned the ball over on its first six possessions of the third quarter and went scoreless for five and half minutes as Lindsay went on a 14-0 run. The Knights never looked back in rolling to the 64-38 victory in the 2A Region II bi-district game at Bowie High School.
