Bulls roll past Millsap

The Bridgeport Bulls routed Millsap for the second time this season Wednesday 64-39 at the Bridgeport Holiday Tournament.
The victory earned the Bulls a spot in the gold bracket Thursday. Bridgeport will play Crandall at noon Thursday.
Bridgeport beat Fort Worth Northside 47-32 in its first game Wednesday behind 16 points from Blake Thompson.
Thompson went 11-for-14 from the free-throw line, including hitting six in the final quarter.
Alex Samples added 13 points. He hit a three-pointer at the buzzer in the third quarter to extend the Bulls’ lead to 10, 34-24.
Cameron King finished with 10 points with a pair of three-pointers.
Bridgeport went 8-for-13 from beyond the three-point arc. The Bulls hit six in treys in the first half on the way to a 23-11 halftime lead.
