Pruett leads Slidell to win

Freshman Caitlin Pruett poured in 27 points Tuesday to lead the Slidell Lady Greyhounds to a 37-30 win over Prairie Valley in the District 17-A opener.
Slidell extended its district winning streak to 28 games with the victory that moved it to 7-9 on the year.
The Lady Greyhounds trailed into the fourth quarter before rallying behind Pruett.
