The Paradise Lady Panthers held off the Peaster Lady Greyhounds Tuesday night for a 5-4 victory in District 9-2A.
Paradise took a 5-1 lead into the seventh inning. Peaster scored three in the final inning before Paradise pitcher Laura Wilson was able to put the wraps on the victory. Wilson recorded 10 strikeouts.
Tori Glover hit two triples and scored twice. Gabbie VonHeuvel added a pair of hits and two RBIs. Rachel Runnels had a triple.
“The whole lineup hit well,” said Paradise coach Karin Essig.
