Sissies go 1-2 at tourney

The Bridgeport Sissies finished 1-2 at the Burkburnett Tournament over the weekend.
The Sissies beat Amarillo 4-1 to score their first win of the year.
Senior pitcher T-Rae Stone gave up one unearned run on two hits in six innings. She struck out four.
Bridgeport finished with 10 hits. Stone and Katie Samples went 2-for-4 at the plate. Samples drove in a run. Lauren Richey was 1-for-3 and drove in two runs.
The Sissies were blanked in their second game by Whitesboro 6-0.
In its final game, Bridgeport fell to Henrietta 8-4.
Trailing 6-0, Bridgeport rallied with four runs in the fourth.
Brooke Bennett took the loss, allowing four earned runs in five innings. She allowed nine hits and walked two.
Henrietta took advantage of four Bridgeport errors to plate four unearned runs.
