Alvord to open playoffs with Aubrey

The Alvord Lady Bulldogs will meet the Aubrey Lady Chaparrals in their playoff opener Tuesday night.
The two will meet in the Class 2A bi-district title game at Keller Central High School at 7:30 p.m.
Aubrey held off Ponder for a 40-37 victory Saturday afternoon in a District 10-2A playoff game for the league’s second seed.
Alvord (21-9) finished third in District 9-2A behind top-ranked Brock and second-place Peaster.
