Voiselle sets meet record

Boyd’s Allie Voiselle earned a first-place medal in the 165-pound class at the Perrin-Whitt powerlifting meet Jan. 30. She set several meet and personal records in the process.
Voiselle recorded personal-bests with a 150-pound bench press, 300-pound deadlift and an overall weight of 730. She lifted 280 in the squat. Voiselle set meet records in each lift and overall weight.
T.K. Rawlings of Boyd competed in the 123-pound class, recording lifts of 153 in the squat, 70 in the bench press, 190 on deadlift for a total of 395.
