The Slidell Greyhounds took 12th in the Class A race in their return trip to the University Interscholastic League cross country championships Saturday in Round Rock. In their first trip to state in two seasons, the Alvord Lady Bulldogs picked up a fourth-place finish in the Class 2A race Saturday. Nicole Neighbors couldn’t chase down the Hockaday’s Jackie Choucair, but came away with second place Saturday at the Assault at Eagle Summit.
