Lady Bulldogs take fourth

The Alvord Lady Bulldogs went 3-3 at their own tournament over the weekend. Alvord scored wins over Muenster, Archer City and Boyd. The Lady Bulldogs fell to Lindsay, Peaster and Royse City. Alvord clinches playoff spot

The Alvord Lady Bulldogs are headed to the playoffs. Alvord sealed the berth in the playoffs and third place in District 9-2A with a 38-33 win over Millsap Friday night. Jordan Ward led Alvord with 11 points. Amber Greer finished with eight. Alvord will play the runner-up from District 10-2A in bi-district.
