Decatur regional semifinal playoff is set

The Decatur High School baseball team (21-10) will take on state-ranked Andrews (18-7) in a regional semifinal best-of-three playoff showdown in Abilene this weekend. Game one will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Hardin Simmons University. Game two is set for 2 p.m. Saturday at McMurry University, followed by game three if needed.

In a battle between baseball district champions, the Decatur Eagles will take on Glen Rose this week in a best-of-three Class 3A regional quarterfinal series in Mineral Wells.
